The client

AG Badminton Brisbane is a local Brisbane business. I worked directly with them to rebuild their web presence.

The problem

Their existing site was over-engineered and expensive to run for what it actually did. It was a static site that was badly underutilised, and it had ended up defunct.

What I did

  • Refactored and enhanced the site with a new look.
  • Chose sane defaults: Next.js hosted on Vercel’s free tier.
  • Kept the architecture simple so the business has no recurring infrastructure costs.

Outcome

A modern, working site for a local business that costs nothing to host and is easy to maintain.
